Hello peoples! Hopefully you won't mind me posting a topic in english. This post is mainly directed at doppi but anyone else with some insight please comment as well.
First off I want you to know how much I appreciate all of the time and effort that you dedicate to your projects!! Doppi you are among an elite group of hackers/hobbyists that set out to accomplish something great and don't stop until they do!
But onto the point. Maybe you are familiar with this already but recently people in the PS2/Gamecube scenes have been forcing games to play in true 16:9 widescreen aspect. For the PS2 it is a matter of either patching the game executable or by applying patches in memory to the games graphic engine using a cheat code engine. I noticed that one of the games on the PS2 that had been patched for this was Grandia 2.
I remembered that your Italian translation of this game incorporated some patches to the game allowing it to be played in higher resolutions up to 1080p but I did not know if the games aspect ratio was actually altered.
At any rate I was thinking that a lot of people out there would enjoy being able to play Grandia 2 in true widescreen HD so I figured I'd like to hear your thoughts on it. Eagerly awaiting your reply, thanks!
